| Laparoscopy Hysteroscopy Vaginal Surgery Urinary Incontinence Menopause Care Colposcopy & LEEP Endometrial ablation These minimally invasive procedures are designed to treat heavy menstrual periods. Most women report significant lightening of the periods and in many cases, a cessation of the periods altogether. As an option to hysterectomy, this outpatient procedure requires minimal anesthesia, with little to no post-operative pain, and allows you to return to work and your normal life the following day. |
Essure procedure This is a new contraceptive procedure, providing an alternative to tubal ligation. Since it is done with a hysterocope through the cervix, no incision is required. And since it causes minimal discomfort, it can done without anesthesia, and recovery time is brief. |
Urinary Sling These newer, minimally-invasive procedures address urinary stress incontinence by placing a piece of mesh under the skin of the vagina to support the urethra (tube that drains the bladder) to prevent leakage during coughing, sneezing, and physical activity. They can be done as an outpatient with minimal discomfort, a short recovery, and a quick return to work. |
| Care Philosophy |
We believe in providing comprehensive health care for women, from adolescence to menopause. This includes basic office gynecology and procedures as well as gynecologic surgery services. We do not double book and we allow adequate time for each visit for a complete evaluation and consultation. It's a small office and staff, so you won't get lost in all the chaos and confusion. Your visit to the doctors' office may not necessarily be the most anticipated part of your schedule, but it doesn't have to be the most stressful and problematic part of it either. Give us a try. |
